Little kid: Look at all that bloooooood <80
Me: Yeah, isn't it great? <8D

EDIT 2/25/08: Finally, I got onto my laptop and remembered to fix this. I fixed the spelling error so Fulfilled is spelled right, I added blood to the stake, and changed Leafpools color to be more accurate. I was going to change Squirrelflight too since people stated she was supposed to have a much orange-er coat but didn't because I always pictured her like this (lol Sandstorm) :END EDIT

I thought it was time for some more Warriors fan art. I've been sketching some stuff up but none of it was appealing enough. This is a scene suggested by AlfaStripes back around the beginning of January. And after looking at this old and ugly thing ( [link] ) I jumped on this request XD Finished it in 4 hours!

WARNING!! SPOILERS!!

This is the final scene of Warriors The New Prophecy: Sunset where Brambleclaw kills his half-brother Hawkfrost after he lead Firestar into a fox trap to kill him. Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost, sons of the horrid and evil Tigerstar, had been meeting with their dead father in dreams where Tigerstar was teaching them how to take over not only their own clans but the entire forest. Squirrelflight and Leafpool tried to warn Brambleclaw that his half brother was a threat but he didn't believe it until the final scene where he had no choice but to kill him. As his blood spilled into the lake, Leapool, the medicine cat, recognized that the current prophecy had been fulfilled. "Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red."

Once Brambleclaw kills Hawkfrost, Firestar tells him that he has won his battle but Brambleclaw thinks to himself "I won, but what will my father do to me now?" So I took a metaphorical approach and made the shape of Tigerstar's head in rage on Hawkfrost's blood which you see upside down at the bottom there.

6/11/08 Note:
I hadn't read Sunset in awhile when I originally did this so some things are incorrect. I know now that Hawkfrost was killed when Brambleclaw stabbed his throat with the fox trap stake. SO STOP TELLING ME PLEASE.

END SPOILERS!

Firestar is the one in the far left and Leafpool and Squirrelflight are over in the top right.

CONDITIONS OF USING THIS IMAGE:

I've noticed a lot of people have used this picture in videos on Youtube without asking me first. At first it irritated me to no end but now I realize it's not that big of a deal as long as they don't admit they drew it. Plus, I know a lot of people there don't have dA accounts so they can't ask people. Though I strongly detest using it without my permission (seriously, if you ask me I'll let you use it, it's not that big of a deal) if you don't have a dA account to ask me then go ask me on my Youtube channel: [link]
I'd much prefer you ask me prior, but if you spot anyone using it without crediting it's not that big of a deal. It's just fanart after all. xD

I'm not sure if it's fulfilled or fullfilled. Ah well, they look the same, sound the same, psheh, doesn't matter. X3

I used to <3 the Warriors books, but that was only the first series. When the second series started, I never got into it and I kinda just gave up on it and left Warriors until seeing some art running around on here. Now I want to go back and read the first series again and maybe try to get back into the books.

It's known though that if a series gets continued, it usually doesn't wind up as good, and goes downhill, but sometimes there are exceptions. I don't know if Warriors is, but they got the third series up.... I got a lot to catch up on. I hope I don't get too confused.

Lovely. Your cats look pretty interesting, and this kinda reminds me of Watership Down somehow. XD Don't know why either... maybe because it's a cat killing another cat, drawn out.

Mmmm, blood.

I think your grass looks fine! Aww...i really like how you drew Firestar, and the way the blood forms into a head is totally awesome! Great job!

I dunno either! XD

I remember when I first started reading them. Man they were good! I could actually keep up with them too. Now new books keep shooting out everywhere DX

I think it's actually getting better. The only bad thing is it switches between usually two or three characters every chapter and book so it can confuse you a ton. But you get used to it and it's all good.

Thanks! I've had a lot of people say they like my cats cause they look... different.

I was thinking Watership Down throughout drawing this entire thing XD

Heh heh, awesome. Call me psycho, but I love some of the gorier scenes in the series. This one was one of my favorites, which I have sketched but never coloured.

Fulfilled. I know because I use firefox as a web browser, and it underlines misspellings. I never realized what a word-tard I was until I started using it.

Anyway, the background is great. There's nothing wrong at all with that grass. Also... I don't know why, but I love Brambleclaw's expression of shock and dismay. Awesome work!

Consider the daffodil. And while you’re doing that, I’ll be over here, looking through your stuff.

I love the gorey scenes too! I guess it's the emotion and action and everything. Plus, there's nothing wrong with bloody scenes like a lot of people think :D

Whoah, it underlines them? That's kinda cool. Like a built in spellcheck. Dang, I bet that can get annoying sometimes though.

Thanks I was worried it looked... i dunno. Rushed. And thanks again! I work hard on the expressions.

Ooooooooh, coool! Awsome background, you've really captured the dramatic feel to the scene.

Silly Stell, the sillyest Stell you'll ever meet.
:iconmoonsongwolf:
Ah, it's really not that bad. If there are words that you use a lot, such as names and places, that would normally get underlined, you can just add it to your dictionary. Much like you can do with Word. I actually really like it, because now I can spell things like ambiance, necessary, and misspell. Things that I normally... uh, misspell. :)

, gigant pixelated grass. :XD:

So, "Warriors" this time? I need to go to the library more often, I don't have a clue what this book and "Watership down" are all about...

Your facial expressions kick ass. The "Oh shi...." look on the wolfs(or at least I think he is one) face is just pure gold. But...does it seem to me or is his (Brambleclaw, right?) right hind leg missing?

Also, I love the amout of details you put into the characters.

Whoa scary blood formation. Dang it, I wanna read these books but my library wants me to actually buy the books to know what happens in every book. The audacity of it all.

This is a wonderful and dramatic job in this picture. I don't want to spoil myself though.
