Description

This was nothing but one big experiment. And dang was it fun! :XD:

Bartholomew is Princess Nelthilta's horse in Calestine Princess. I wish I could show you an updated drawn example, but sadly I lack one. I should really draw him up again. but here is his OLD one for those curious: [link]

This beautiful Arabian horse stock was absolutely perfect for his base. As you can tell by comparing to the original, I did alter quite a few things to make him more fit to the standard Ambivian horse:
:bulletred: Extended and lifted the hind hocks for higher digitagrated legs.
:bulletred: Lengthened and created two bends in his tail.
:bulletred: Created a frilly/"mohawk" mane and forelock.
:bulletred: Lengthened the ears and snout.

I attempted at lengthening and curving his neck, but I failed so I reverted back to the original neck. xD
And the BG is set on low opacity because in full it distracted too much but I didn't want it to be completely blank either.

Certainly not very realistic in the least, as certain parts I couldn't get to blend together too well, but that's ok seeing as how this is the first time I ever created something like this. I did it more for fun rather than how well it turned out. So no crits please. :)

In scraps because it's just an experiment.

that gold thing around its neck ? that look like it would be hard to breath or hurt its jaw when bobbing its head

I got it finally loaded thanks to slow tower I got I also blame deviantart anyhow.. I jump around drawings a lot so I didn't have much chance to look at this for 3 days
