Since lately I've been really into reading and reviewing webcomics, I've been reading over a good deal of wolf comics here on dA. And that's when I began to notice a trend... A good deal (though not all) of them involve their cast of wolfies (or other animals) having some sort of accessory on their person. I even asked a couple of them "Are these magic wolves or something?" and they said "No, they're normal wolves.".
Which then got me to thinking... how can a wild animal get a hold of such things?
Then this thing was born.
Introducing Bloodclot (the red one) and Steve (the gray one) the wolves in their first appearance! Will there be more? There's a chance
Anyway... Moral of the Story Kids: Unless your wolf/animal character has opposable thumbs, is a born-with-accessories-attached species, has human (or human-like) contact, or has access to a nearby Wal-Mart in the middle of the forest, don't be surprised if your design gets lots of lulz.
Just because it looks cool doesn't mean it makes sense! xD
(This does not apply to non-story characters.)
Disclaimer: These characters do not portray any specific person or their characters. These were randomly generated.
Lol. I always wondered about that... Admittedly, some of my characters have "accessories", but they've all had human contact or are wearing collars that they found and are lose enough to just slip over their heads.
.. for some reason this makes me want to make a comic with my rabid, insane, probably radioactive maned wolf. I unno why, he doesn't have any accessories XD

I think what we can learn from this, though, is that the going price for a butthole is around $250.
Yeah, your characters have humans all around them who can put the stuff on them. When it comes to loose items that they can slip on, that's one exception I think. C: That is, if they can find such items in their setting. I don't think checkered gloves and spotted ties are lying around the forest often. xD
