Official New!Linda Concept Sheet

It is time at last! For those who have followed my Tumblr (and not-so-long-ago my FurAffinity) I have been working to revamp my character Linda into the new alien species being collabed between myself and StupidShepherd. I finally feel like her design is solid enough to share with everyone here on dA!

I'm extremely happy overall with this design. I wanted her to resemble her original design as much as possible while still being entirely new and fresh. I kept her old sensors placement with her new feathers, just changing around their number for simplification purposes (cept the tail ones, there's still 14 of them). She is also still albino. The rest of the elements are shared between her original version and her human!version: arched brows, default come-hither gaze, curvy figure, and pink. I even tried to mimic her awkward smile from her original version, but instead of being uncanny valley big, its just wide and filled with tiny pointy dagger teeth!

As for misc notes on her...
The species is distinctive for its display feathers on the tail; Linda's are rather impressive when fanned out. She doesn't do this often as a cultural thing, but she will do it when flirting or when excited.
Her head feathers do involuntarily move depending on her mood. They lift the happier she is and drape when she's upset.
Her chest poof is extra large and fluffy. This is a gender-specific thing for the species as females have these large bunches for yanking out the down for their nests when they lay eggs. Linda's fluff was meant to mimic her large bust size in her human form (to be quite honest). They don't actually have breasts, though.
Her iris is blue (their sclera is not visible) but her pupils are stylized as red. This is because albino eyes are sensitive to light and often have red-eye in photographs. So, obviously, her pupils aren't actually red, but I choose this stylization as red eyes are "stereotyped" for albinos.
Her nose marking was inspired by a seagull. If she was not albino she would proooobably resemble one a little bit.
Her eyelashes are insanely long because she is Linda.

The design is not 100% finalized yet, but any changes after this will be very minor. I really hope you guys like this new Linda! I really want to stress that although I don't mind at all if people like or favorite my old art of Linda (her reference included) I want to make it very, very clear I never want her original design drawn again nor her character associated with it! That version is retired for a reason! I had a lot of fun with her original character and learned a hell of a lot, but I am putting that version of her in my past and looking into the future with this new design and world. I hope you understand that! As for why this change had to occur in the first place, I mentioned it a time or two but it all just came down to creative differences between myself and the species creator. Please don't ask about the details! All that matters now is Linda is back and being fabulous.

Lastly, we officially found a name for this species... Rozenich!
We'll make it more formal later, but the name was created by a friend of Pyro's, and the meaning behind it was so well devised it was irresistible!
Of course, "Fuzzy Raptors" is also an accepted alternative, aha!
