IT'S AN ACTUAL PAGE AFTER A FREAKIN' YEAR HIATUS
You guys will probably eat my face now when I tell you this page has actually been sitting almost done for like... 6 months with only the backgrounds left to do. Oops. 8D
Last we left off, Federico's driver took Kailani out to the car and Queen Matieka wished to speak with Lord Federico alone. Hmm. I'm sure this will endin disaster delightfully!
And Feddy WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! Use proper English gosh dangit!
Art-wise, through my experience with doing my other comics this past year, my skills have both improved as well as my methods for working. This page (and the next couple) are still my older artwork, so don't be surprised if you start seeing some different shifts of style in the future, such as how I draw the characters and shading and whatnot. I also changed the font temporarily just to see what it would look like. Still haven't found a font to use that I'm happy with.
As well, I want to just bring up that the next pages will NOT be back set on the schedule yet. I still need time to get back into the swing of things with working on it. But at least you know that it is still alive and kicking and will for certain be continued after all this wait!
Either way, I am unbelievably happy to return to this comic

I like to think the queen got those scars on the right side of her face from her own claws when someone startled her while she was doing her makeup or something
